It always depends on the transportation you're going to need and the museums you want to visit, but personally, I would recommend the Berlin Welcome Card in the version that includes Museum Island (not the Pergamon Museum since it's under renovation, but the Bode Museum, Old Museum, New Museum, and the Old National Gallery of Berlin). We bought it, and to be honest, it turned out to be very cost-effective.
The only downside is that if there's a special exhibition in one of the museums, with the Pass cards (any of them) you won't have access to that exhibition. However, don't worry too much because the Berlin museums with their permanent exhibitions will already take up all the time you have to visit them.
