Museum Island

Museum Island is so called for the complex of five internationally significant museums, all part of the Berlin State Museums : the Altes Museum , the Neues Museum , the Alte Nationalgalerie ,the Bode Museum and the Pergamon Museum.

The museum complex was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1999 ( read more )
